Jumanji: An Interactive Story

Created using Java Processing, it allows the user to choose to play as one of the four main characters and takes you through conversations, a riddle and a mini game.

There are different paths to travel through along with an important decision to make. I developed this project to be fun, surprising and of course: interactive.

It is not your typical story, as you get to experience it through a character of your choice.

Before I began coding, I created this storyboard which shows how I wanted the story to carry out. You can see how almost each scene corresponds to the ones I eventually implemented after lots of trial and error and self-learning.

Rough Storyline

The brief was to create at least 7 different connections/storylines so here shows the rough layout I created for my story.
The final story did not have as many storylines as I aimed for, however with more experience, this is something I would implement.
